Abstract:

Correspondence, reports, memoranda, minutes of meetings, position papers, campaign literature, newspaper clippings, press releases and newsletters, copies of congressional documents, etc., relating to the national campaign efforts to repeal title II (the emergency detention measure) of the Internal Security Act of 1950. Included are copies of letters from Earl Warren and Ronald Reagan and from various congressmen, correspondence from the JACL Washington office and from committees in Southern California, Chicago and the twin cities.
